Speed your browser by changing your DNS
Changing your DNS settings can speed up browser performance quite a bit. Learn how to pick the best one for your setup and change to the fastest free server for your needs. A small project made by some guys here in RHS , the other one doesn't really like to read manga. Anyways, most people skyscrapercity use the default DNS settings provided by their ISP, and while they are usually sufficient for most purposes, skyscrapercity there are plenty of free options out there, like OpenDNS and Google DNS. Namebench is a free app that checks to see whether your current settings are optimized and, if not, which free option is best for you. Here's how to use it: 1. Download and install Namebench here . 2. Fire it up and choose your settings. Keep the top two boxes checked. If you're concerned about network censorship, check the third box, and if you want to help the developers , check the last box. You may want to tweak the rest if you're outside the U.S. or want to experiment with different browsers. Step 2: Choose Namebench settings. 3. Click Start Benchmark skyscrapercity and wait while Namebench runs its tests. It should take several minutes. skyscrapercity A browser tab should pop open when Namebench is done and give you a list of DNS servers and how much faster they are than the one you're currently using, unless yours are already the fastest possible. 4. Namebench does not change your settings, but it's generally pretty easy to do it yourself. Check with the instructions you got from your ISP to set up your modem and/or router and just substitute the DNS addresses you received from Namebench for the addresses given by your ISP. It's best to do this with your router, as it will assign that DNS address for all the devices attached to it. That's it! This can dramatically improve your browsing speed, and it's fairly easy to work through. IT DOESN'T HAVE A PERMANENT INSTALL skyscrapercity Well most likely, you have to extract it again to use NameBench coz it's was the only way they were able to create a self-contained .exe file in Windows that included a copy of Python, as Windows does not currently ship with a Python runtime. Alternatively, you can download the source code and py2exe, then run tools/release_win.bat to create your own namebench.exe file, without the self-extractor.

I am not sure I understand codec this story. Is this a historic document? or is it a new מחאה? Is the חתם סופר saying he paskens like Rabeinu Tam and they removed it from his sefer? If yes, why not remove the Tosfos from Zevochim that quotes Rabeinu Tam? I personally do not know more than one person that would ever do a melocho after shekia even extreme emergency. Thanks for posting this article and shedding some light on this serious problem. While most people may not see the issue at hand here, a tournament (with people from different regions attending, tight schedules and mind-games being a vital part of the gameplay) being interrupted by something like this is just unacceptable. Luckily after a grueling 4 mins and some tweaking they were able to continue, though vlc that not being possible could have been a just as likely scenario, had there not been an immediate internet connection nearby as well as the console owner. It saddens me that draconian DRM schemes vlc like these still make it into games, specially fighting games, when Double Helix assured the community this would be tournament viable. vlc

Today, we announced two exciting new features to the Adobe Primetime DRM (formerly Adobe Access) offering. pro tools 1) Adobe Primetime Cloud DRM Service, and 2) Hardware DRM support on AMD chipsets. DRM is a critical component to enable premium content in early release pro tools windows on the web and across mobile devices. This means earlier access to better pro tools content for viewers.
The Primetime Cloud DRM Service makes Primetime DRM easy to deploy. This new service is completely managed by Adobe, including robust security through hardware Security Modules (HSMs), redundancy, and scalable architecture are always up-to-date with the compliance and robustness rules. With the Adobe Primetime Cloud DRM Service, a customer doesn t need to worry about content delivery because they are out of compliance. Instead, customers can focus on creating and distributing the most engaging content.

Adobe Primetime DRM supports desktop, Android, iOS, XBox, Roku and Digital Home devices, and provides broad reach with a single DRM workflow.

Print OverDrive is putting another nail in the coffin of DRM with the announcement that it’ll stop offering audiobooks in the WMA format. Soon OverDrive will only sell audiobooks in DRM-free MP3 .
If you check out eBooks or digital 3d max audiobooks from a public library in the United States, there’s 3d max a good chance the transaction is handled by OverDrive. The company is one of the biggest players in the digital content for schools and libraries business.
Update : OverDrive says users will be prompted to delete MP3s when the lending period ends… but MP3s are still DRM-free, which will make that requirement hard to enforce. They’ll expire in the OverDrive app, but there’s nothing stopping you from saving copies.
One of the complaints folks often make about DRM is that it also prevents you from using content that you’ve bought in the way that you see fit. For instance if you buy an audiobook on CD you can loan it to a friend or sell it. If you buy one with DRM then you may only be able to play it on a limited number of devices and you can’t share it with another user.
OverDrive’s 3d max move from WMA to MP3 means that when you check out a digital audiobook from the library you won’t have to “return” it or lose access to the audio at the end of a 2 or 3 week loan period. You can take as long as you’d like to finish listening… although the polite thing to do might be to delete the audiobook when you’re done or buy something 3d max from the author 3d max in the future if you really enjoyed it (and can afford it).
OverDrive will likely continue to limit how many times an MP3 audiobook can be downloaded by library patrons over the course of a year, depending on how many licenses 3d max a library pays for. But by eliminating DRM the company is making it easier for library users to listen at their own pace and on any device they like.
Cool! The first time I used Overdrive for an audiobook it was a nightmare because the book was only available as WMA and I had only Mac or Linux systems at the time. I did a lot of software installing and googling for solutions and finally gave up. Since then, I’ve only checked out audiobooks in mp3. I wonder if this announcement indicates that thousands of others had the same frustrating experience and reaction.
Whew, that’s good, caz I only have an MP3 player, not a DRM player. I like audiobooks, but one of the reasons I don’t use services like audible is that my mp3 player can’t play those files. 3d max DRM, pssh.
