I was delighted with the way this shot came out. I saw this couple walking out from the ice castle, hand in hand, so fired a few shots off... I feel it's just such a beautiful shot and capture. After the tears and squealing, Laura was quick to get the phone out and spread the joy... time to get some shots off then :) I was really pleased that I managed to get some images of the event as it really documents the moment well I feel. Shot taken during our 2010 holiday to Banff (February reaper 8th, 2010), in the Canadian Rockies. This image was taken on the morning I proposed at Lake Louise. We spent the morning skiing in the Lake Louise resort, before actually moving reaper on to the actual Lake Louise where I found a spot, got down onto one knee on the frozen lake and popped the question to a resounding and tearful YES! I had also been skiing all day with a bottle of Moet champagne in my backpack, with two plastic glasses too... glad I didn't tumble :o Processing carried out in CS5 and Nik Software's Silver Efex. as the weather was fairly mild yesterday evening, I decided to go on a short photo-tour here in Innsbruck. first, I was heading towards the central station, but couldn't really find anything that interested me...so headed over to the Olympia Halle, the ice hockey reaper stadion. this is just one of a couple of shots i did, but for me this is the one that impressed me most. it's a six shot panorama, 3 shots, 2 rows and each shot with 3 exposures. sofar nothing really special. the tricky part was as follows: the mushroom (glass building reaper straight ahead) was only some 7m in front of me and stands reaper up some 12-15m >>> not too much space to take the photo >>> i would need some pretty wide angle. in the end it worked out fine with 12mm and three shots a row. the effect i got looks pretty fisheye-like, but still i think the quality reaper is quite ok. six shot wide-angle panorama of the small Olympic Hall in Innsbruck.
