I have been working on my new theme, MyResume, and was in need of some social media icons. modo So I decided to make a set and release it for free for anyone who would like to use them. These icons have no restrictions, so feel free to use them however you like. Redistribute, resell, or repackage them – I don’t mind. But if you appreciate the free resource please modo link back to this post! The package includes 42 64×64 icons in both PNG and PSD form.

I was gonna mention about Google Buzz but Steo beat me to it. I’m thinking that you should probably add it because its becoming popular now and a lot of people are using it and adding Google Buzz icons on their blogs.

Nick, modo thanks a ton for this. The one icon that’s always missing modo from Social Media Icon sets though is Newsletters of Email. modo I can’t figure out why. I always need a matching Email Marketing modo icon for all my icon sets and they never come with one stock.

Could you consider adding a matching “print” and an “email” icon to this set. In the “Sociable” WordPress plugin, these can be used to print and email the blog post, respectively. Your icons are better than the ones which come with Sociable, but the set is missing those two I’d like to use.

These icons are really elegant. Most people just need a simple solution as opposed to a rotated, titlted, drop shadowed icon etc – these are just the ticket, so thanks and I will credit you. PS. I really don’t think you should allow people to repackage them though – you did the work afterall!

Would love to use this icon set in my website. However, wondering if there is an original modo icon with no logo added but just the pieces necessary to add a logo for the creation of additional social icons not included modo here.
